Hiring Tessa was the best decision ever! She was so easy to work with. At the day of my wedding, I was able to really enjoy myself and not worry about anything because I know Tessa and her team were there for me. She has loads of experience and is not afraid to tell you the truth as she will always have your best interests in mind. She keeps things light, and when things get stressful she is able to "lock in" and truly problem solve if any. Her contacts she has on the island is unparalleled, as she surrounded us with the best of the best vendors that we could trust. Best food, best photographers, best florist, and best rentals. Literally, everything about our wedding was perfect!

If you are spending a good amount of money on your wedding, you MUST invest in a wedding planner - specifically Tessa - because I could not have done it without her. She was able to save me money, and make practical decisions that were in my best interests. She treats your wedding as if it were her own.

Her assistant planners that were with us the day of were extremely helpful as well. They seriously go above and beyond. Tessa and her team are truly world class. Worth every penny. THANK YOU TESSA!

I don't know how we can write a review that can say how amazing, professional, kind, funny, and talented Tessa and her team are! We hired her knowing she was going to do what we needed the day of our wedding and we were not wrong. Our wedding day took a turn for the stormy and I am so thankful for Tessa and Teresa. The rain went from drizzle to downpour and didn't give up until the evening. Tessa rallied the troops, AKA our guests, and kept moral high. We are not the kind of couple to let a little rain ruin our day and Tessa took that energy and ran with it. She held the balance of "on time" and "wait and see" perfectly, helping us keep our day on somewhat of a schedule while also hoping the rain would let up. It did not. We are so thankful for her team running the behind the scenes operations such as emptying the tent of rain so it didn't cave in! We couldn't be happier with all Tessa helped with day of, all of the meetings and emails leading up to our wedding. It was so nice to be able to enjoy our day and not worry about the thousand little details or the weather. Thank you Tessa and your crew for a perfect, albeit wet, day!

Fred + Kate Events is the crème de la crème of Oahu wedding planners. We hired Tessa and her team for "day of coordination" services, but they went so far beyond the call of duty before, during, and after our wedding that their work was nothing short of incredible… They accommodated timeline and contract revisions with a prompt, professional, and generous attitude. They worked tirelessly to execute our ideas and make everyone feel comfortable in the process… Tessa was literally our port in the storm. She even had to remind me to put on my earrings, which I had forgotten in the chaos of the moment. After a year of virtual COVID planning, we were absolutely mesmerized when we walked into our wedding venue... it all came together thanks to their exquisite work and attention to detail… As a professional researcher, I have a problem delegating work to other people. I prefer to get the job done myself. If you are anything like me (and you value a comprehensive spreadsheet or checklist), then look no further than Fred + Kate Events. Tessa and her team were so organized, efficient, and genuinely enthusiastic about our wedding, that I was able to hand over the reigns with complete confidence. No small feat! Thank you, Tessa! This is one of those reviews you just hope people read. My wife and I cannot even begin to express our gratitude to Tessa and her team. Our interaction with her team was somewhat minimal (the day of basically) but in that short time they were attentive, on point, gracious, fun and absolutely hard working. We never wanted for anything. But it was Tessa who we spent a large majority of the 6 months leading up to the wedding - and I am telling you right here and right now that she is remarkable at her job. Passionate, ORGANIZED (so important since the wife and I...not so much) and totally reliable. I know that she was juggling multiple clients as she was working with us - but it never felt that way. It felt like we were her only clients. I have to assume this is one of the key desired qualities in your wedding coordinator. Cannot recommend Tessa and the Fred and Kate team anymore. We will miss our weekly calls with her - that's for sure.

We thought we were ready for our wedding until Hurricane Lane appeared as a category 5 hurricane heading towards Oahu. The hurricane never hit, but half of our vendors backed out and we had to change venues. Tessa kicked into overdrive. She was on the phone with vendors until 4am, helping us change venues, create a new timeline, and coordinating every-thing. In two days she put together an event that was even more beautiful than what we had originally planned. Our wedding was wonderful!

When we signed our contract with the venue, we had no intention on hiring a wedding coordinator. Our venue's catering manager politely suggested we reconsider and gave us three recommendations. Working with Fred + Kate Events was a dream. Tessa read through all of our vendor contracts, kept us on track, confirmed dates, times, payments with our vendors, and was by our sides the entire wedding day. We set out to hire a wedding coordinator, but ended up making lifelong friend. We could not imagine our special day without Fred + Kate Events.

Fred + Kate was one of the first vendors we booked. It was important we weren't stressed throughout the planning process or on our wedding day and because of Tessa we never were. She went above and beyond to make sure of that. The week of our wedding I had my final dress fitting and was so disappointed in the way the bustle looked. Tessa met me in the parking garage of my job that same day to look at it and find a different way to bustle it. Within minutes she figured out a better look. I couldn't have been happier with how it turned out and some of my favorite photos were from the back! I know our experience would have been completely different if weren’t for Tessa.

I just want to express my gratitude to Tessa and her amazing team of wedding planners. We hired her for our wedding and our rehearsal dinner! She did a phenomenal job with both events and managed to make them both seem very different even though we used some of the same vendors. Tessa has exquisite taste when it comes to vendors. We absolutely loved every single one she suggested and our guests raved about the food. I feel incredibly lucky to have had the pleasure of working with Tessa, and now that my wedding is over I miss our check-in calls. She is smart, talented, organized, and she truly loves weddings and the planning process. You will not be disappointed with her and her fantastic team.

We met with Tessa once a month starting at the beginning of the year and more frequently as we got closer to our wedding date. We went over timelines, vendors, and things we wanted/didn't want in the wedding. She finalized details with the vendors prior to the wedding date. She is an amazing coordinator: very attentive, organized, responsive to our emails/text messages, etc...the list goes on.

Tessa and her team were exceptional on our wedding day! It was such a seamless and stress-free day. We tell our newly engaged friends and family members about Tessa. She takes the stress out of wedding planning and to us, that was worth the money.

If you're reading this, you're probably looking for a coordinator. I can keep going and persuade you, but I don't want to make this review into an essay. Just read all the other raving reviews.

By far the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding was hiring Tessa. From the very beginning, we felt incredibly supported and in great hands. Our wedding went incredibly smoothly and Tessa helped us every step of the way. She truly went above and beyond in making sure everything was tracking in the months leading up to the wedding, which was so valuable and helped us avoid disaster scenarios and day-of stress down the road. If you're debating whether or not to Fred + Kate, do it!! You won't regret it.

The most incredible wedding planner ever!!! Tessa did an amazing job on planning with me . She kept me calm and even reassured me when my OCD went wild . Planning a wedding from afar is never easy but she kept me on track and had every detail worked out . I paid for the more expensive package but then got to show up and really enjoy ! Henry was amazing as well ! I could never have done it without them!

Fred and Kate was recommended to us by our wedding venue and I am SO GLAD they did! We hired them for Partial Planning Services and Tessa was AMAZING throughout the whole planning process! She helped relieve some of my stress during the months leading up to the big day. She made great recommendations and you can tell she is just an expert in her field!

Tessa and her team was even more AMAZING coordinating the day of the wedding! Most especially I LOVED Henry! We had a huge wedding party (13 groomsmen and 13 bridesmaids) and and even bigger guest count (365 guests) but everything went as smoothly as can be.

We chose Fred and Kate as our wedding coordinator and it was one of the best decisions we made. From the beginning, Tessa was there every step of the way and answered the millions of questions I had. She also recommended our DJ who turned out to be the perfect fit for me and my EDM loving husband. Planning a destination wedding can be difficult, however Tessa made the whole process go smoothly.

On the day of the wedding, Maya arrived early to help with whatever I needed. I asked her if she could help steam my dress and she said yes. To my pleasant surprise, she ended up steaming all of the bridesmaid dresses and the mother of the bride/groom dresses. We were not expecting her to do all of that, but it allowed us all to fully relax until the ceremony. I am also very grateful for Jeannette, she helped put my veil on, helped me go to the bathroom, and other miscellaneous things like fixing my hair before a picture. Finally, Midori helped guide everyone to where they needed to be without rushing us. I appreciated this because my wedding day was truly the least stressful day. Tessa and her whole team did an amazing job with putting together our timeline, as well as making sure we all were cared for on the day of the wedding. I would highly recommend Fred and Kate events to anyone getting married in Oahu!
